Small Business Support
Our Main Street is home to more than 100 small businesses that contribute immensely to our community’s character and vibrancy. We offer technical assistance and financial support to the local entrepreneurs because we know that when they thrive, we all thrive.
Forest Hills Connection (FHC)
It is getting harder and harder to find hyper-local neighborhood news and FHC stands out as a beacon for our community. FHC is an editorially independent news site for and about the goings on in Van Ness, Forest Hills, North Cleveland Park and Wakefield.
Good, Clean, Fun Initiative (GCF)
Forest Hills Park and Playground is a treasured part of our community and you can see people of all ages enjoying the playground, tennis and basketball courts, picnic space, and sports fields at all times of day, all year around. The GCF is a volunteer-led advocacy group that aims to create community in a well-kept and welcoming gathering space.
BUSINESS SUPPORT
Is your company or businesses interested in making a lasting impact on the Van Ness neighborhood? Local establishments, nonprofits, investors and business owners are also invited to support Van Ness Main Street by making a financial contribution. Unrestricted gifts provide Van Ness Main Street with the flexible resources it needs to provide quality programs and services to the neighborhood.
Businesses can also sponsor various activities and events throughout the year. Sponsorships offer interested companies the opportunity to fund valuable projects that enliven the Van Ness community. It is a great way to strengthen ties with local residents while gaining business recognition with current and potential customers. Sponsorship packages, including recognition, can be tailored to meet the needs of the business and depending on the level of investment.
